Michael Marcotte is a proven, relevant Chairman and CEO with extraordinary expertise combining polymathic breadth and depth.

He has served as the Chairman & CEO of numerous companies and corporate boards from startups and fast-growth pre-IPO companies to publicly traded companies.

He is the former Global Chief Information Officer, Chief Digital Officer, and President (Hughes Cloud Services) of the global EchoStar/EchoStar International/Dish Network/Hughes/SlingTV, etc. family of companies. He was one of the very first people ever, to serve as a Chief Digital Officer for a major global corporation.

He has served as a corporate officer with 7 major global corporations. He has M&A experience in billions of dollars of revenue and valuation. He is a partner at New Republic Studios.

Marcotte is a co-founder of the public/private National Cybersecurity Center (NCC) and was the founder and Chairman of the NCC’s Rapid Response Center (NCC/RRC).

He is a former board member of the Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT). He has been a senior advisor for several Heads of State (domestic and internationally) and United State Senators, on both sides of the aisle. 

He is a two-time winner of the NASA award for engineering excellence and United States Air Force Award of Engineering Excellence.

He was a recipient of The Business Journals U.S.A. Forty Under 40 award.

For several decades Michael has been a noted expert in artificial intelligence (linear algebra, deep learning, analytics, etc). Michael’s work in service includes teaching quantum physics, economics, and international and domestic law.  With his extensive medical background he drives data-driven human longevity research and development. 

He is a pilot and accomplished aerobatics aviator.

Rick King is a former executive of Thomson Reuters, a leading provider of business information services. From 2000 until his retirement in 2021, King held numerous executive-level roles at the company including CIO, CTO, COO, and Managing Director.  Prior to Thomson Reuters, King held executive-level positions at Ceridian Employer Services, Jostens Learning and WICAT Systems Inc. He began his career as a teacher and coach in Vermont.

King serves on the board of directors for Huntington Bancshares, Incorporated. He was named by Minnesota Governor Tim Walz to chair the Blue Ribbon Council on IT in 2019 and he currently chairs the Technology Advisory Council. The Governor also reappointed him to chair the Metropolitan Airports Commission, where he has served since 2011 having been appointed twice by former Governor Mark Dayton. In 2009, he was named by former Governor Tim Pawlenty to chair Minnesota’s Ultra High-Speed Broadband Task Force.

King earned bachelor and master’s degrees from the University of Vermont as well as a Certificate in Cybersecurity Oversight from the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University.

Mike Schall is a seasoned executive in the grocery and food industry. Recently, he joined Pod Foods as the President, bringing over four decades of experience in senior management and leadership roles within food companies and retail grocery sectors. Before joining Pod Foods, he was a key executive at Whole Foods Market, where he focused on global growth and business development. Schall has also been involved in advising and leading initiatives at other food-related companies 

Peter Stridh is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Finance.

He leads capital raising and other strategic investment initiatives, M&A, enterprise global portfolio optimization, and strategic partnerships.

Peter is the former Global Head of Cloud Strategy and M&A for the Fortune 50 company Ingram Micro, the world’s largest IT distribution company. He also acted as the Head of Global Cloud Delivery and Director of Global Business Transformation across all its operating entities.

Peter is a recipient of the NASA 2021 Entrepreneurship award.

He serves on multiple boards for technology companies focused on advanced technologies and national security.

At IBM, he was part of the leadership team for the end-to-end build of one of IBM’s largest data centers world-wide, and a recipient of the IBM CEO Award for Outstanding Achievement.

He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Argosy University, United States Master of Business Administration from Henley Business School at the University of Reading, United Kingdom Master of Sciences in Computer and Systems Sciences from Stockholm University, Sweden.

Peter reports directly to the Chairman and CEO Michael Marcotte.

Dominic brings his passion for nurturing early stage business with his love of food, health and nutrition as VP of Business Development at Jō Life Foods.

He has been a co-founder of several businesses, including a boutique M&A firm and several software technology companies, currently including artius.iD, an enterprise proven identity solution provider where he works closely with Michael Marcotte.

Dominic brings his infectious positivity and innate ability to lift everyone up along with his over 30 years’ experience in business development, strategic partnerships, operations, finance and capitalization strategy to Jō Life Foods.

Dave has a passion for healthy food, music, and philanthropy. His entrepreneurial spirit was evident from an early age, as he got an early start in business at Green Forest Lumber, a company founded by his self-made lumber tycoon father John Sereny. David quickly rose through the ranks and eventually worked on its board of directors.

Betty Sereny, Advisor

Betty is a mother and wife, who has been nurturing her family for over 25 years. Her commitment to her family is a testament to worthwhile success. 

Betty's creative essence is evident in every recipe of Jo Life foods products, which reflects her passion for creating healthy and delicious foods for the world. 

Her rhythm of joy is also rooted in her music and art which magically unifies all people. You will get a taste of her extraordinary voice in our Jo Life Foods"jingles." 

She is a cosmic force for joy and our foods are better for it. Betty's inspiring presence continues, as she passes on her love for jazz in The Sereny's charitable music school.

Amielle is a true renaissance woman and innovator as the Chief Innovation Officer of Jō Life Foods. Her diverse background includes being a certified healer, spiritual guide, and author of the book "Psychic Change." 

She co-founded the House of Marcotte Foundation, a 501c3, which provides a healing arts and science hub for human development and sponsors women affected by alcoholism. 

In addition to her spiritual and philanthropic work, Amielle is also a highly trained professional aviator. She has served as Lead Captain, Aviation Manager, and Director of flight operations in the Gulfstream Business Jets. She currently is an Aviation Consultant for raising the bar with fit to fly, health and wellness.

She is an honorably discharged United States Army veteran. She served a 6 year commitment in the JAG section as a 71D; legal specialist.
